The SkyCarrier™ is a mission-enhancing autonomous drone deployment system designed for Teledyne FLIR R70 SkyRanger® and R80D SkyRaider® platforms. It enables secure remote storage, autonomous launch and recovery, and persistent drone operations from vehicles, maritime vessels, or fixed installations.
Designed for high-tempo operational environments, SkyCarrier allows drones to take off and land while the platform is in motion, even across rugged terrain with inclines exceeding 20°. Integrated AI-based visual markers support precise landing and target acquisition, ensuring reliable recovery in dynamic conditions. SkyCarrier is offered in either a free-flight and optionally-tethered configuration, enabling persistent aerial overwatch, remote surveillance, and rapid redeployment without continuous operator intervention. In free-flight mode, the system provides autonomous recharging and rapid redeployment, reducing operational overhead and extending mission endurance. Built to operate in GPS-denied and RF-restricted environments, SkyCarrier enables secure communications and dark-mode operations while maintaining reliable control and mission continuity.
